5 months old!

Hello Everyone! Calin is growing so quickly I can't even explain it! We jsut found his first tooth tonight and the second is almost threw! He is rolling all over the place and loves to be on his feet! He is such a happy baby and smiles all the time! He is in LOVE with Sophia and enjoys watching her play and entertain him! They are so cute together! She is such a good helper if I need her to grab a toy for him or get his"bing bing" for him. Calin is no longer our tiny baby but our "chubby bubby"! He weighs around 20 pounds. We go back to the dr at 6 months so I'll know exactly then! He is in 12 month clothes for summer and is about to eat baby food. He has had peaches and eats his bowl of cereal every morning! I just can't believe how fast it has gone and big he is! We love every minute we have with him!!

2 Months Old

Calin is eating us out of house and home already! He is weighing in at a hefty 13lbs! The dr says he is proportionate and isn't concerned about it! Jorn and I, on the other hand, are thinking about a second mortgage to feed the kid! Although he eats a lot, he still isn't sleeping through the night. He wakes up once to eat and back to bed until about 5 or 6 when he thinks it's play/naptime. It's a little too early for me to be up and functioning though! Otherwise he is doing amazingly well and we are smitten over him!

Calin's 1st Christmas!

Calin had his first Christmas with all his family! We had a full weekend of Christmas, spending Sunday with Nana (Jorn's mom), Xmas Eve with Omi and Papi (Jorn's dad and step-mom) and Christmas day with Mimi and Bottie (Sophia's names for Amy's parents). He got many handsome outfits and lots of books and toys! Sophia loves to read to him and show him how to play with his toys!! Ha! Thanks to everyone and Happy New Year!

1 Month old!

We took our tiny baby to the dr early this week for his one month well check....and our tiny baby is now over 9 pounds and 21 inches long! It could be because he eats about every 2 1/2 hours....4 oz at each feeding!! He is definitely healthy and growing EVERYDAY!! Looking forward to seeing some of you over the holidays!

Welcome Baby

Calin Matthew Baxstrom entered into this world quite unexpectedly on Sunday November 11, 2007. He weighed 7lbs, 5.5oz and was 19 inches long. We are doing great at home now! Sophia loves hims, giving him kisses and holding him all the time. She is such a good helper bringing him his "bing-bing" (binkie) when he cries and helping me dress him. It's very cute! He is sleeping pretty good, waking once or twice to eat and back to bed. Look for more pictures to come and updates!
